Born in 1966 Rome, Lives in Rome.

Elisabetta Benassi makes use of video, exploiting its attitude to convey narration and underlining its connection with commercial film making, in order to stage short stories with strong emotional content and symbolic charge. Her stories refer to Italian cultural mythology and traditions, but are given a more universal version through the artist's personal, intimate reading.
